What the season includes
Les Émeraudes est l'équipe compétitive de l'académie. Votre gemme s'entraîne 5 h par semaine sur deux sites, monte ses routines à l'automne et compétitionne de janvier à juin dans le circuit de Gymnastique Québec.
The five apparatus
Rope, hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. Her apparatus are assigned by age and level at the start of the season.
Thursday ballet
One hour a week with a ballet teacher, at Westwood Junior.
Building the routines
Autumn is spent building the routines and repeating them until they hold.
Competitions
From January to June, on the Gymnastique Québec circuit, individually or in a group.

Levels and formats
Her level and category are set at the start of the season, by age and mastery, within Gymnastique Québec.
An athlete may compete individually, in a group, or both. That is decided at the start of the season.
September to June, in terms
Vous payez une session à la fois. Aujourd'hui, c'est l'automne : du 14 septembre au 5 décembre. L'hiver et le printemps suivent, et l'équipe reste ensemble de septembre à juin.
- Autumn term: September 14 to December 5
- No class on October 9 and October 12.
- Close to 60 hours of training across the autumn term.
- December — competition preparation (outside the autumn term, billed separately).
- At the Christmas Show, your gem performs either the competition routine or a show number, depending on where they are.
- January to June — competitions 3 to 5 events, depending on the level — winter and spring terms, billed separately.
- Gymnastique Québec affiliation — billed once the competitive level is assigned at the start of the season (level-based, from $83, tax exempt).
What to bring
Competition apparatus, individual and group, is bought separately once the assignment is known. Everything is available at the academy shop.

- 5 h a week from September 14 to December 5, ballet included.

- The Christmas Show and the keepsake medal.
