Questions de parents

Avant de vous lancer

From what age and level?
The competitive pathway is for gymnasts according to age and level. The pre-competitive group (Les Perles) is often the natural first step.
How many training hours a week?
Les Émeraudes train 5 h a week (4 h training + 1 h ballet on Thursdays). The Opales level, 7 h a week, opens winter 2027.
What does it cost?
Les Émeraudes is 855 $ for the fall season (5 h a week, including 1 h of ballet). The competitive affiliation is billed separately once the level is assigned (level-based, from 83 $, tax exempt).. Payment is per term, with the option of Shop Pay instalments. A deposit at registration reserves the place for the season.
My daughter (or son) is in recreational. How do we move to competitive?
It is the natural path: several of our competitive athletes started in recreational, then pre-competitive. Talk to us.
Le ballet est-il inclus?
Yes, for competitive athletes: a class ofclassical ballet on Thursdays, 6 to 7 p.m., at Westwood Junior gym, with a dedicated ballet teacher. Ballet builds the line, the arm carriage and the elegance that make the difference.
Is competition experience required?
No. We guide every athlete from her first regional competitions up through the higher levels, at her own pace.
