I'm Maori Murciano - founder and head coach of Gemmez.
I trained in one of the world's elite rhythmic gymnastics programs, competed in international competitions, and was selected for the national Olympic team for the 2012 cycle, when an early injury ended my competitive career.
That chapter shaped how I coach.
What I carried forward from that journey, I brought into coaching - and athletes who once doubted themselves became Quebec and Eastern champions. That is what earned me the 2019 Excellent Borough Coach Award.
With a BA in Psychology from McGill University, NCCP certification, and a coaching philosophy built on sport science and human development, I bring both high-performance experience and genuine care into every class.
Every child who walks into Gemmez is already a gem. My role - and this academy's role - is simply to help that gem shine.
