Whether your teen is new to rhythmic gymnastics or returning to build on their skills, The Amber program offers a structured and encouraging environment for gymnasts aged 11 - 16 to grow their skills and improve their flexibility and agility.

This class blends strength training, technical skill development, and artistic movement β€” helping young athletes enhance coordination, flexibility, and the confidence to embrace new challenges. We foster discipline, resilience, and pride in every step of personal progress.

  • Dynamic Movement & Strength: Focused exercises to develop agility, endurance, and control β€” supporting athletic growth and fluid, graceful movement.

  • Apparatus Technique: Progressive practice with ribbon, hoop, ball, rope, and clubs, designed to refine precision, motor planning, and artistic interpretation through engaging routines.

  • Confident Expression: We empower each athlete to take pride in their progress, build resilience through challenge, and express themselves confidently in a supportive, recreational setting.

🎭 Christmas Showcase - December 6

The season concludes with a non-competitive showcase, where athletes perform a routine in front of family and peers β€” gaining valuable stage experience and celebrating their achievements. (Costume rental included in tuition.)

  • Warm-Up

    Gymnasts begin with cardio and stretches, priming their bodies, enhancing flexibility and coordination.

    They develop flexibility and learn elements such as, balances, jumps, pivots, acrobatics, stamina, and coordination.

  • Apparatus Training

    Gymnasts will learn to master rolling, tossing, catching, spinning, and twirling with different apparatuses:

    • Hoop: Circular motions, tosses, and body integration.

    • Ball: Rolls, accurate throws, catches, and fluid dance transitions.

    • Ribbon: Graceful manipulation, incorporating twirls and spirals.

    • Clubs: Intricate handwork, tosses, and catches.

    • Rope: Rhythmic jumps and skipping techniques.

  • Skill Development

    Gymnasts learn routines combining dance and apparatus handling, expressing emotions and storytelling through their movements for enhanced performance.

    Cool-Down

    The class concludes with a gradual cool-down, reducing heart rate and preventing muscle soreness.

    Feedback

    Coaches provide ongoing feedback, refining technique and guiding improvement.Β
