⏰ Tuesdays & Fridays - 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
No classes during Spring Break (March 1–8)

- Annual affiliation with Gymnastique Québec (for new registrations)
- Completed registration form
- Academy T-shirt (uniform top)

Our Pre-Competitive Team is designed for motivated gymnasts who are ready to go beyond recreational classes and explore a more focused path.
With twice-weekly training, this program offers greater attention to technique, flexibility, artistic expression, and conditioning - while nurturing self-confidence, discipline, and joy in progress.
This team is a stepping stone toward competitive level for athletes who show commitment, love the sport, and want to challenge themselves in a supportive
💫 What Your Athlete Will Gain:
- Increased Training Frequency: Twice-weekly practices allow for deeper learning, faster progress, and stronger retention of technique and flexibility.
- Technical Development: Focused work on form, transitions, and mastery of all rhythmic apparatus: ribbon, rope, hoop, ball, and clubs - with an emphasis on clarity, expression, and control.
- Artistic Growth: Each gymnast develops their expressive abilities through choreography and music interpretation, preparing for future performance or competition opportunities.
- Team Culture & Mindset: While still non-competitive, this group trains with shared goals and growing discipline - fostering team spirit, focus, and personal ownership of progress.

- Bottoms: Black shorts or long leggings - Academy’s design’s recommended.
- Mandatory footwear: Toe shoes
- Hair: Neatly styled in a bun.
- White socks (under the toe shoes) - can also train with toe shoes only.

Here's an overview of what a class entails:

Warm-Up
Gymnasts begin with cardio and stretches, priming their bodies, enhancing flexibility and coordination.
They develop flexibility and learn elements such as, balances, jumps, pivots, acrobatics, stamina, and coordination.

Apparatus Training
Apparatuses available for purchase for training at home- check our online store!Gymnasts will learn to master rolling, tossing, catching, spinning, and twirling with different apparatuses:
Hoop: Circular motions, tosses, and body integration.
Ball: Rolls, accurate throws, catches, and fluid dance transitions.
Ribbon: Graceful manipulation, incorporating twirls and spirals.
Clubs: Intricate handwork, tosses, and catches.
Rope: Rhythmic jumps and skipping techniques.

Skill Development
Gymnasts learn routines combining dance and apparatus handling, expressing emotions and storytelling through their movements for enhanced performance.
Cool-Down
The class concludes with a gradual cool-down, reducing heart rate and preventing muscle soreness.
Feedback
Coaches provide ongoing feedback, refining technique and guiding improvement.
